forward, of port in port, cultural aspects that put down the roots of
the first globalization. Deeply connected with the sea life and with the
activity portuária turns up also the fate.
The fado is not only a song accompanied to the guitar. It is the soul itself of the Portuguese people. Hearing the words of each fado one can feel the presence of the sea, the life of the sailors and fishermen, the lanes and alleys of Lisbon, the farewells, the misfortune and the longing. The great companion of the fate is the Portuguese guitar. Joined, fado and guitar, they count the essence of a history connected with the sea.
Because of being all the Portugueses, the fado is in the bar and in the aristocratic hall. When it appeared in the first half of last century, fast it was made into the popular song of Lisbon. From that time, it always maintained his characteristics of expression of feelings associated to the fate of the destiny. The fate is marked by the phatos of the tragedies of classic Greece.
